Philosophy:
My fitness philosophy began with growing up on the sidelines of my dad’s rugby games. I learned that exercise can be fun, it is an outlet for stress, has many brain benefits, and can lead to life-long friendships. Exercise benefits far surpass aesthetics and weight loss. My hope is that you don’t quit moving once you start! Your fitness journey is about challenging yourself, setting goals-meeting them-and then surpassing them, if you chose. It is about getting to know your body... and understanding that exercise is essential in achieving optimal health, especially as you age! Philosophy:
My fitness philosophy is motion is lotion. We need to keep moving our bodies so all of our parts and pieces keep moving correctly. My niche is anyone who wants to have fun while working out. I do work well with the senior population here at Cascade. I can also teach adult swimming lessons or stroke proficiency for all swimming strokes. My fitness inspiration in my mom. She has battled cancer and has a run streak that is unheard of. I also am completely inspired by my long time and new clients that have gone through injuries, cancer or major medical issues but they continue to put their health on the front burner and keep coming back.
